Job summary

ASG Home Care is seeking Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to support individuals with developmental disabilities in home and community settings across New Jersey. You will work one-on-one with clients according to each ISP and help promote independence and daily living skills.

The role offers flexible hours and local cases with a supportive team. CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain is required, and prior caregiving is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred.
• Prior caregiving experience preferred but not required.
• CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire).

Position Overview

As a Direct Support Professional (DSP) with ASG Home Care, you will provide hands‑on support that promotes independence, community engagement, and daily living success. As a Direct Support Professional, you will work one‑on‑one with individuals in both home and community settings while following each person's Individualized Service Plan (ISP).

Key Responsibilities as a Direct Support Professional (DSP)

• Provide individualized home and community‑based support to individuals with developmental disabilities

• Assist with daily living activities including personal care, meal preparation, and transportation

What We're Looking For in a Direct Support Professional
