Job summary

Community Services Group is hiring Direct Support Professionals to assist adults with autism in residential settings across Harrisburg, Hershey, Lancaster and Lititz, PA. You’ll support daily living, promote independence, and help individuals reach personal goals in home and community settings.

We offer two weeks of paid orientation, mileage reimbursement for training travel, and a benefits package including health, dental, vision, and retirement options.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle.
• Ability to assist with daily living activities and life skills.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.
• Willingness to complete orientation and training.

Responsibilities

• Develop relationships to promote emotional and personal well‑being.
• Assist adults with life skills, cooking, housekeeping, and budgeting.
• Support community integration and independence through activities.
• Document accurately in electronic health records and collaborate with teams.
• Coordinate medical care when needed and follow health guidelines.
• Conduct safety drills and provide coverage in emergencies.

This instruction may occur in group situations and/or is individually scheduled, and it can be implemented in the person’s home setting, and/or community settings. The DSP reports directly to the Program Supervisor.This position is part of our Adult Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD) Services.Currently hiring for positions in Harrisburg, Hershey, Lancaster and Lititz, PA. Full-Time, Part-Time & Flexible - 2nd & 3rd shift positions.CSG’s Intellectual and Developmental Disability (IDD/ASD) Services is excited to offer a 2 week paid orientation for this position. Orientation includes the necessary foundational training needed before providing services in the programs and sets you up for a successful career at CSG. Orientation is held in-person at our Mountville, Williamsport, and Bethlehem offices.
