Job summary

ASG Home Care in New Jersey is hiring Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to provide hands-on support in clients' homes and communities. You will work one-on-one, following each person's ISP to promote independence and daily living skills.

The role offers flexible hours, in-home and community settings, and opportunities to grow within a DDD-focused agency. A valid driver's license and compassionate, dependable approach are valued; CPR/First Aid may be obtained after hire.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred.
• Prior caregiving or DSP experience preferred but not required.
• CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire).
• Compassionate, dependable, and motivated to make a difference.

ASG Home Care is actively hiring Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to support individuals with developmental disabilities in their homes and communities throughout New Jersey. We are a DDD-focused agency offering consistent hours, local cases, and a supportive team that sets Direct Support Professionals up for success.

Position Overview

As a Direct Support Professional (DSP) with ASG Home Care, you will provide hands‑on support that promotes independence, community engagement, and daily living success. As a Direct Support Professional, you will work one‑on‑one with individuals in both home and community settings while following each person's Individualized Service Plan (ISP).

Key Responsibilities as a Direct Support Professional (DSP)

• Provide individualized home and community‑based support to individuals with developmental disabilities

• Assist with daily living activities including personal care, meal preparation, and transportation

• Encourage independence and community participation aligned with each client's ISP

• Document services accurately and communicate with the care team

• Build meaningful, consistent relationships with the individuals you support

What We're Looking For in a Direct Support Professional

• Must be 18 years or older
