Job summary

ViaQuest is seeking a Direct Support Professional (DSP) in Bucyrus, OH to assist individuals with developmental disabilities in home settings. Training is provided, and no prior experience is required for this role.

Qualifications

• No experience required; training provided.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Reliable transportation to work.
• Valid Ohio driver’s license and car insurance.
• Motor Vehicle Record must meet ViaQuest's Authorized Driver Criteria.
• Can push, lift or carry up to 50 lbs. and can climb, balance, kneel and crouch.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care and support to individuals with developmental disabilities to foster independence, choice and empowerment while meeting health and safety needs.
• Supervise, teach, and assist individuals in all aspects of daily life.
• Complete household tasks including meal preparation and maintaining a clean, safe living environment.

At ViaQuest, our DSPs provide support to individuals with developmental disabilities in their homes. Training for this position is provided in its entirety so no experience is required!
