Job summary

Mosaic is hiring Direct Support Professionals in Bloomfield, CT. As a DSP, you’ll support people served as they learn daily living skills to live as independently as possible. No experience needed; comprehensive training is provided.

You’ll be a natural helper, a top listener, a dedicated teacher, and an advocate who helps individuals pursue their personal goals while ensuring safety, wellness and basic care.

Qualifications

• Desire to make a positive difference in people's lives; training provided.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Valid U.S. driver’s license where applicable.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Ability to perform physical tasks as described in the duties.

Responsibilities

• Assist with development of daily living skills in a learning-focused environment.
• Help individuals identify and achieve personal goals to live their best life.
• Monitor comfort and safety and address medical, nutritional, and personal care needs.
• Provide emotional support and assist with housekeeping, meals, and laundry.
