Job summary

Abound Health is seeking Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to provide caregiving and daily living support for individuals with IDD in Hackensack, NJ. You will assist with ADLs, community participation, and behavioral support to help clients live independently.

This rewarding role offers flexible schedules (full-time or part-time), paid onboarding and training, weekly pay, and growth opportunities. Starting pay ranges from $23/hour (non-acuity) to $33/hour (acuity), plus a $1,000 signing bonus

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Valid driver’s license and current auto insurance required.
• Ability to pass criminal, driving, and healthcare registry checks.
• Willingness to address personal care needs when necessary.
• Lifting may be required depending on client needs.

Responsibilities

• Build positive relationships and support individuals in achieving personal goals.
• Assist with daily living activities such as meals, hygiene, and household tasks.
• Support individuals in community participation, employment, and social activities.

Direct Support Professional (DSP) – $23-33/hr + $1,000 Signing Bonus – Hackensack, NJ

Abound Health is hiring Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to provide caregiving and daily living support for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD). As a DSP, you will assist with activities of daily living (ADLs), community participation, and behavioral support while helping clients live independently. What You’ll Do

As a DSP, you will provide hands-on support that helps individuals build independence and confidence. Being a DSP is a rewarding experience – you will genuinely make a difference in somebody’s life. Responsibilities will include:

• Build positive relationships and support individuals in achieving personal goals
• Assist with daily living activities such as meal preparation, hygiene, and household tasks
• Support individuals in community participation, employment, and social activities

• Monitor health and safety while maintaining a supportive environment
• Communicate with Abound team members, families, and external parties (case managers, etc.) as needed
• Complete documentation and maintaining schedules
• Complete ongoing training and professional development

Requirements

Pay & Signing Bonus

Starting Pay: $23/hour for non-acuity; $33/hour for acuity

$1,000 signing bonus paid in 3 installments when averaging 20+ hours/week
