Right at Home in La Vernia, TX is seeking a caregiver to provide full-assist personal care for a new client in Wilson County. The schedule is ~32 hours per week with mornings and evenings available, and you may take all or part of the hours to fit your availability.

Care duties include high fall risk management with a gait belt, bed baths, peri care, Foley care, continence care, and help with meals. Client safety and understandable transport to doctor.

Qualifications

• Bed bath each morning; peri care and Foley care twice daily.
• Fully incontinent — change briefs promptly.
• High fall risk — gait belt for all transfers; uses walker/wheelchair.

Responsabilités

• Provide full-assist personal care in a home setting.
• Assist with transfers using gait belt; mobility support with walker/wheelchair.
• Perform bed baths, peri care, Foley care and continence management.
• Encourage breathing/leg exercises and monitor safety during activities.

We have a new client in La Vernia, TX (Wilson County, east of San Antonio

SCHEDULE (~32 hrs/wk): full availability mornings and evenings.

You can take all or some of the hours to complete your schedule

WHAT'S NEEDED — full-assist personal care:

• High fall risk — gait belt for all transfers, uses walker/wheelchair
• Bed bath each morning; peri + Foley care twice daily
• Fully incontinent — change briefs promptly
• Choking risk — cut food small, special cutlery
• Encourage breathing/leg exercises
• Drives client to doctor in his vehicle (proof of insurance needed)
• Syncope: if he faints, let him rest. Cannot be left alone. Family handles meds + meals.
