AHRC Nassau seeks a dedicated staff member to support residents in the Community Living Services program in Baldwin, NY. This role involves promoting the agency’s mission and providing ongoing assistance to residents to maintain a high quality of life and well-being.

Responsibilities include helping with self-care, health, safety, household tasks, social activities, and overall wellness, with pay starting at $14.00 per hour based on experience.

• Must communicate clearly in written and oral form.
• Must have NYS driver’s license and maintain qualified driver status.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Must submit a valid NYS drivers' license, and maintain a qualified driver status throughout employment.
• Must have the ability to communicate and understand written and oral directives/information

• Provide ongoing support to the people that live in the Community Living Services program to ensure that a high quality of life is maintained.
• Provide support in the areas of, for example, self-care routines, health, safety, household chores, socialization, and overall well-being.
