Job summary

Sevita's Indiana Mentor program is seeking compassionate caregivers to support youth in residential and treatment foster care. You’ll help with daily living tasks, aid in personal care, and contribute to individualized plans focused on growth and stability.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Six months of experience in human services, direct care, or care coordination preferred.
• Strong communication and empathy for participants.

Responsibilities

• Assist participants with personal hygiene and support individuals with behavioral challenges.
• Help participants set and achieve developmental goals such as budgeting, exercise, and nutrition.
• Foster independence and community involvement for participants.

Indiana Mentor, a part of the Sevita family, provides Residential and Treatment Foster Care services to youth who may be facing out-of-home placements, transitioning back into the family home or independent living alternatives, or involved in the juvenile justice system.
