Bridgewell in Wakefield, MA, is seeking a Direct Support Professional to assist individuals with developmental, physical, and psychiatric disabilities in residential and community settings. The role involves daily living skills training, supervision, and community access, with potential specialized trainings such as PABC or MAP.
Responsibilities include documenting progress, assisting with transportation, and maintaining safety.
Schedule: Tuesday-Friday 11:00am-7:00pm and Saturday 9:00am-5:00pm (40 hours per week)

The Direct Support Professional will provide support and assistance to people with developmental, physical and psychiatric disabilities based on the needs of the residential program assigned. The role involves daily intervention, supervision, and skills training in activities of daily living within home environments and in the community. Staff may need specialized certifications or training such as PABC, ABA techniques, autism, behavioral support, or healthcare. Staff must pass specialized training and may be required to provide enhanced supervision or interventions for multiple disabilities including behavioral support or enhanced medical care.
The physical demands require the employee to maneuver people of varying weights, provide lifting, balanced support, and physical intervention in multiple scenarios. The pay range listed for this position is the hourly rate range the organization reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for this position at this time. Actual compensation is determined based on several factors, that may include seniority, education, training, relevant experience, relevant certifications, or other applicable factors permissible by law. Salary: $20.12 - $20.72 per hour
