Job summary

REM Community Services, part of Sevita, is seeking a part-time caregiver to support individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. You will assist with personal care, daily activities, and community participation in a compassionate, relationship-building role.

Ideal candidates have 18+ years of age, a high school diploma or equivalent, and basic skills in communication, teamwork, and time management.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent, proof of education is required
• Age Requirement: Minimum 18yrs of age
• Experience: Six months of experience Intellectual disabilities, behavioral health, or mental health preferred
• Skills: Communication, adaptability, multi-tasking, teamwork, time-management
• Behaviors: Patient, compassionate, reliable, responsible
• Vehicle: Valid Driver's license and access to a registered vehicle with proof of insurance

Job description

Hire wage is $17 hourly

This position requires someone who has had a Drivers License for at least 1 year (post permit) and a clean driving record that meets Sevita’s insurability policy.

Proof of full coverage vehicle insurance and reliable personal vehicle is required.

Positions include weekend shifts as scheduled

Part Time

3p-8p every other Friday with 11a-5p every other weekend

3p-10p Tuesday, Thursday, 3p-8p every other Friday, with 11a-5p every other weekend
