Job summary

Sevita is seeking a compassionate caregiver at our Tampa, FL location. This full-time role offers afternoons/evenings with a pay rate of $15.00 per hour. You will assist individuals with personal care, support daily activities, and help participants set and achieve goals in a community-based setting.

Candidates should have a High School Diploma or equivalent and at least six months of experience in human services or direct care. A valid driver's license and reliable vehicle are required.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Six months of experience in human services, direct care, or care coordination preferred.
• Skills: Communication, adaptability, multi-tasking, teamwork, time-management.
• Behaviors: Patient, compassionate, reliable, responsible.
• Vehicle: Valid Driver's license and access to a registered vehicle with proof of insurance.

Responsibilities

• Assist people with their personal hygiene and support individuals who can have behavioral challenges and other complex needs.
• Help participants achieve developmental goals like budgeting, exercise, and nutrition.
• Take initiative to help participants be part of the community and enjoy their favorite activities.
