Delta-T Group North Jersey, Inc. is seeking Direct Support Professionals in Slatington, PA. You will actively assist adults, perform personal care tasks, lift up to 60 pounds, and help with feeding in a home-care setting.

This independent contractor role offers flexible shifts (1st and 2nd shifts Monday to Friday, plus weekend coverage) with competitive weekly compensation up to $19 per hour and premium holiday rates. Background checks and CPR/First Aid are required.

Qualifications

• Valid Driver's License.
• Proof of High School Diploma or GED.
• Healthcare documents: Physical and TB/PPD (within one year).
• Valid CPR/First Aid Certification.
• Ability to pass background checks.
• Ability to complete IDD trainings as required.
• Resume showing at least 1 year experience with IDD.

Responsibilities

• Actively assist adults with daily living tasks.
• Perform personal care/hygiene including bathing and diapering.
• Assist with feeding and lifting up to 60 pounds as needed.

Our client is looking for Direct Care Works or Caregivers in Slatington, PA.

SUMMARY OF CLIENT'S DESCRIPTION OF THIS OPPORTUNITY

As a Direct Support Professional, you will ACTIVELY assist adults and perform tasks including lifting (up to 60 pounds without assistance), providing personal care/hygiene (including bathing, adult diapering, toileting etc.) and feeding in the Slatington PA area.

CLIENT'S COMPENSATION & REFERRALS

• Competitive Weekly Compensation up to 19/hr.

Client's Available Hours:

• 1st shift: 7am3pm (MondayFriday)
• 2nd shift: 3pm11pm (MondayFriday)
• Availability to work Every Other Saturday and Sunday required
• Double weekend shifts: 3pm7am on Saturdays & Sundays
• Double weekend shifts: 7am11pm on Saturdays & Sundays

• Ability to complete client's required computer-based IDD trainings
• Resume- Minimum 1 year experience working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities is required

This is an independent contractor opportunity for anyone who has ever worked as a: CNA, Certified Nursing Assistant, Home Healthcare, PCA, Personal Care Assistant, Companion, HHA, Home Health Aide, Certified Home Health Aide, hospice, at a nursing home or an assisted living facility, Caregiver, Direct Care Worker, DCW, Patient Care Technician, DSP and/or a Direct Support Professional to provide support to persons with intellectual developmental disabilities in group home settings.
