The Jewish Board is seeking a Direct Support Professional to provide day-to-day living support in a residential treatment setting. You will help implement the treatment plan, supervise personal hygiene, plan meals, run activities, and accompany clients to appointments and outings.
Documentation of resident interactions and progress in electronic records is required, and you will collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to address any issues promptly.
A Direct Support Professional works with clients in a residential treatment setting and is responsible for ensuring that those portions of the treatment plan, which deal with day-to-day and independent living skills, are implemented. Acting as a positive role model and providing therapeutic services, the Direct Support Professional is charged with the fundamental responsibility of the client's health and safety.
