Job summary

Kaleidoscope Family Solutions, Inc. seeks a Direct Support Professional in Tuckerton, NJ to help individuals develop daily living and social skills and to engage in community activities that promote independence.

As a self-employed independent contractor, you will drive individuals in a personal vehicle when needed and maintain required trainings. Flexible hours include evenings and weekends, with weekly pay and personal/professional fulfillment in a meaningful role.

Qualifications

• Must be compassionate and willing to care for the well-being of others.
• Must have a High School Diploma or GED.
• Must be willing to complete background checks.
• Must have a valid Driver's License and existing insurance.
• Must be willing and able to drive individuals in a personal car throughout the community.

Description of Contract Opportunity

• Assist Individuals as they develop and maintain skills to improve their daily-living and social skills

• Maintain annual 24 hour training requirements

Required Experience and Education for Direct Support Professional

• Must be compassionate and willing to care for the well-being of others
• Minimum of a High School Diploma or General Equivalency Diploma (GED)
• Must be willing to complete given background checks
• Must have a valid Driver's License and existing insurance
• Must be willing and able to drive individuals in personal car throughout the community
• Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills
• Flexibility is preferred to allow more opportunity for individual assignments
