Job summary

REM Community Services, a part of the Sevita family, provides community-based services for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in New Jersey. You’ll join a mission-driven team and help participants grow, learn, and live well through meaningful activities and supportive relationships.

This role offers full-time and part-time schedules with competitive pay ($18.46/hour), a full benefits package and opportunities for development.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Six months of experience in human services, direct care or care coordination preferred.
• Valid driver's license and access to a registered vehicle with proof of insurance.

Responsibilities

• Assist participants with personal hygiene.
• Support individuals who can have behavioral challenges and other complex needs.
• Help participants participate in community activities and daily living.
• Assist with budgeting, exercise, and nutrition goals as part of developmental plans.
• Develop real, meaningful relationships with the individuals you serve.
