Job summary

Covenant Case Management Services is seeking compassionate Direct Care Support Professionals to provide supported employment, respite, and community living support for an individual with intellectual disabilities in the Mooresville area. You will work one-on-one to meet daily needs in home and community settings.

Responsibilities include personal care, meal preparation, medication administration when required, ensuring safety, and maintaining a positive, respectful environment while following

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Background check must be passable.
• Experience with individuals with disabilities is preferred but not required.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and a compassionate, patient demeanor.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one support, companionship, and daily living assistance.
• Assist with personal care, meal prep, and medication administration when needed.
• Keep the individual safe in home and community settings.
• Maintain a positive, supportive environment and follow agency policies.
• Support work schedule is contract-based with 15–28 hours per week.

You will play a crucial role in ensuring the individual's needs are met and providing a safe and supportive environment both in the home and the community.

• Ensure the individual's safety and well-being in the home and community.
• Maintain a positive and supportive atmosphere.
• Follow agency policies and procedures.
