Job summary

Sevita in Kennebunk, Maine invites you to join our evening care team. The role focuses on supporting individuals with living skills, recreation and daily activities in residential and community settings. You will work closely with clinical staff to implement therapeutic plans and promote independence.

We offer full- and part-time schedules, paid training, and benefits including PTO, holidays and mileage reimbursement. A valid driver's license, 18+ years of age, and background checks are required.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED or equivalent required.
  • Six months to one year of experience in the human services field preferred.
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record for state of residence for at least 1 year.
  • Must be at least 18 years old and pass background checks.
  • Caring, detail-oriented and communicative with a compassionate approach.

Responsibilities

  • Provide training, assistance and supervision to individuals in living skills and recreation in residential/community settings.
  • Assist with daily activities including meals, hygiene, shopping, cleaning and medication administration.
  • Facilitate relationships between employers and individuals served; accompany on outings or provide transportation as needed.
  • Collaborate with clinical staff to support therapeutic and behavioral plans.

8 hour evening shift: 3pm-11pm

Starting wage: $18.75/hour plus we pay additional for relative certifications and experience

  • Provide training, assistance and supervision to individuals receiving care in the areas of living skills, therapeutic recreation, and other forms of assistance in both residential and community settings.
  • Assist with daily activities such as meal preparation, personal hygiene, shopping, cleaning, and medication administration.
  • Facilitate the working relationships between employers and individuals served, and support community involvement by accompanying them on outings, or providing transportation to work or other activities.
  • Work closely with our clinical staff to support the therapeutic and behavioral plans in place.
We are hiring Evening Shifts!
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent
  • Six months to one year of experience in the human services field
  • Valid Driver's License from state of residence for minimum 1 year and good driving record
  • Must be minimum of 18 years of age
  • Successful clearance of background checks
  • A caring attitude with a dedication to assisting others
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and effective communication skills
  • A reliable, responsible attitude and a compassionate approach
