Qualifications

• Minimum 18 years of age.
• Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to engage in physical activities.
• Ability to read and write in English.
• Criminal background check, drug screening, CARI check, Central Registry screening, required exclusionary checks.

Responsibilities

• Supporting individuals with developmental/intellectual disabilities in home and community settings.

• Assisting with daily living tasks such as meal prep, light housekeeping, laundry, and grocery shopping.
• Transporting or meeting clients in the community for activities, appointments, and outings.

• Assisting with Person-Centered Plans and goal development.
• Communicating any concerns or changes to management promptly.

What You’ll Do

As a DSP, you’ll do more than provide care — you’ll help individuals build confidence, independence, social connections, and everyday life skills.

Responsibilities include

• Supporting individuals with developmental/intellectual disabilities in home and community settings
• Encouraging independence, self-help skills, and community inclusion
• Assisting with daily living tasks such as meal prep, light housekeeping, laundry, and grocery shopping
