Job summary

REM Community Services, a part of Sevita, is seeking a compassionate Caregiver to empower individuals with developmental disabilities to live well and grow in the community.

You’ll help with daily living, build trusting relationships, and support meaningful activities while earning competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or GED or 5 years of caregiving substituted for education.
• Caregiving role requires empathy, reliability, and a compassionate approach.
• Must be 18 years or older and have a valid driver's license.
• Background checks must be cleared and a responsible attitude demonstrated.

Responsibilities

• Empower individuals to achieve personal and developmental goals via daily living activities.
• Build meaningful connections as a mentor, advocate, and friend to those you support.
• Take initiative and contribute ideas with support from supervisors.
• Assist with meal prep, medication reminders, personal care, and community outings.
• Help participants access communities, attend events, and pursue activities they enjoy.

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Valid driver's license and access to a registered vehicle with proof of insurance.
