Job summary

Clarvida in Huntingdon County, PA is seeking a Direct Support Professional for a part-time, on-site role in our day program. You will provide compassionate care and support individuals with developmental disabilities to live more independently, with emphasis on communication and respect.

Responsibilities include supporting daily activities, documenting care in accordance with state policies, assisting with medication administration, and helping participants engage in community life and life

Qualifications

• At least 18 years old.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Valid Pennsylvania driver’s license with a good driving record.
• Experience with individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities (preferred).
• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills (preferred).

About the Role

We’re hiring a Direct Support Professional to provide high-quality, compassionate care to individuals with developmental disabilities in a day program setting to live a more independent life. As a Direct Support Professional, you’ll support individuals with social, emotional, and environmental support to help them achieve greater independence. This role requires strong communication skills and a commitment to ensuring that individuals are supported in a respectful and dignified manner.
