Job summary

Help at Home is seeking Direct Support Professionals to provide one-on-one support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in their homes and communities. You will teach daily living skills, promote independence, and encourage participation in community activities while upholding dignity and self-advocacy.

Help at Home is seeking caring, dependable Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to support individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in their homes and communities. We offer weekly pay, flexible scheduling, paid training, and opportunities for career growth.

About the Role

As a Direct Support Professional, you will provide one-on-one support to help individuals build daily living skills and live as independently as possible. You will teach and assist with everyday activities, encourage participation in the community, and support personal goals while promoting dignity, choice, and self-advocacy.

Preferred Experience

Preference will be given to candidates with experience in one or more of the following:

• Supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD) and/or autism.
• Implementing Individual Activity Support Plans (ASP) and Plans of Service and Supports (PSS).
• Using foundational behavior-support strategies, including redirection, visual prompting, and environmental modification.
