Job summary

Help at Home is hiring Direct Support Professionals in Missouri, De Soto. You will provide in-home, one-on-one support to seniors and people with disabilities, including daily activities, companionship, and community engagement.

Earn $17/hour with flexible scheduling and weekly pay, plus health care, PTO, and bonuses. Qualified applicants have a HS Diploma or GED, a valid driver’s license, CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain), and access to insured transportation.

Responsibilities

• In-Home Assistance – help clients with day-to-day activities like meals, cleaning, dressing, grooming, laundry, monitoring vital signs, bathing, toileting, technology and other basic activities.
• Companionship – join clients in activities and accompany them to events or appointments.
• Community Building – communicate with family and other staff about concerns or challenges to safeguard living arrangements.

As a Direct Support Professional, You’ll Work 1-on-1 With Your Clients Inside Their Homes, And Support Them With The Following Types Of Activities

• In-Home Assistance – Help your clients with day-to-day activities like preparing meals, cleaning, dressing, grooming, laundry, monitoring vital signs, bathing, toileting, technology and other basic activities
• Companionship – Join your clients in playing games, arts and crafts, and accompany them to events outside the home like appointments, grocery shopping and running errands
• Community Building – Create a safe and positive living situation for your clients by communicating with the family and other staff about any concerns or challenges
