Job summary

ATTUF Group LLC in Illinois is seeking DSPs to provide direct daily living support, skill development, and community integration for participants with IDD. You will assist in personal care, facilitate recreation, and document progress in a respectful, nurturing environment.

Responsibilities include assisting with personal care, supporting daily living skills, enabling community access, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to implement individualized plans and track changes.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; some roles may require additional education.
• ≥18 years old
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
• Ability to pass background checks
• Basic CPR/First Aid certification – must obtain within 30 days of hire (Attuf Group can provide)
• Strong communication, adaptability, and cultural sensitivity

Required Qualifications

• Ability to pass background/criminal record checks
• Physical capability: lifting, kneeling, bending as needed
• Basic CPR/First Aid certification – must obtain within 30 days of hire (Attuf Group can provide)
• Strong communication, adaptability, and cultural sensitivity

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience with IDD, mental health, or caregiving
• Postsecondary coursework or certification in human services
