Job summary

Sevita's Indiana Mentor team is seeking a compassionate caregiver to support youth in residential and treatment foster care programs in Indiana. You will assist with daily living activities, personal care, and help participants pursue goals in budgeting, exercise, and nutrition.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Six months of experience in human services, direct care, or care coordination is preferred.
• Strong communication, adaptability, and ability to manage multiple tasks are essential.
• Patient, compassionate, reliable, and responsible behavior is expected.
• Valid driver’s license and access to a registered vehicle with proof of insurance is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist participants with personal hygiene and daily living activities.
• Support participants with behavioral challenges and other complex needs.
• Develop real, meaningful relationships with the individuals you serve.
• Take initiative to help participants be part of the community and engage in activities.
• Help participants work toward personal goals in budgeting, exercise, and nutrition.
