Job summary

REM Community Services, a part of Sevita, seeks a part-time caregiver to support individuals with disabilities. You will assist with personal care, encourage participation in daily activities, and help participants pursue goals in budgeting, exercise, and nutrition.

Requirements include a high school diploma, 18+ years old, and a valid driver's license with vehicle insurance proof. Weekend shifts are included, and Sevita offers a full benefits package and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Must have High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 18 years of age or older.
• Six months of experience with intellectual disabilities, behavioral health, or mental health preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and access to a registered vehicle with proof of insurance.
• Strong communication, adaptability and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Assist with personal hygiene and support participants with complex needs.
• Help participants participate in community activities and daily routines.
• Support budgeting, exercise and nutrition goals for participants.
• Provide compassionate, patient, reliable care and maintain safety.
• Follow behavioral plans and report changes to supervisors.

Hire wage is $17 hourly

This position requires someone who has had a Drivers License for at least 1 year (post permit) and a clean driving record that meets Sevita’s insurability policy.

Proof of full coverage vehicle insurance and reliable personal vehicle is required.

Positions include weekend shifts as scheduled

WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO SEVITA
