Job summary

Resources for Human Development (RHD) is seeking a Direct Support Professional (DSP) to empower adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. This full-time role offers $18.00 per hour with flexible per diem scheduling and DailyPay available, plus paid training and comprehensive benefits.

You will provide supervision, support daily living activities, transportation, and help individuals access community resources while maintaining safety and dignity in person-centered plans.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Valid driver's license required
• Ability to pass all required background screenings (FBI clearance when applicable)
• Ability to provide proof of education

Responsibilities

• Provide supervision and support in accordance with each individual's Person-Centered ISP
• Assist individuals in achieving personal goals and desired outcomes
• Support activities of daily living, including meal preparation, personal hygiene, and household tasks
• Provide transportation to appointments, activities, and community events as needed
• Assist individuals in accessing community resources and supports
• Administer or assist with medications as required
• Complete required documentation accurately and in a timely manner
• Collaborate with program and clinical staff to ensure quality services
• Promote healthy, safe, and socially appropriate behaviors
• Perform other related duties as assigned

What You'll Do
