Job summary

Merakey is hiring Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) for our Stockton, CA program. You will interact with individuals with developmental disabilities, provide direct care, and help implement behavior plans in various settings including homes and community contexts.

The ideal candidate has DSP certifications (DSP1/DSP2) and RBT certification, plus at least six months of direct care experience. A valid driver's license is required, with a schedule Sat–Wed.

Qualifications

• Must have a verifiable High School Diploma/G.E.D.
• Dual Diagnose experience preferred.

Earn $24- $26 per hour (rate increases to $2 per hour once you have received your RBT – Registered Behavioral Technician certification).

Our Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) interact and support our individuals with development disabilities in a variety of potential settings including community, family or individual homes and generic community settings, as well as Adult Training Facilities. The DSP will assist with direct care as well as implementation of behavior plans. We provide a level of care that enhances the health, safety, dignity and contentment of every consumer served by assisting and training individuals in the areas of personal care, communication, and social skill development.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:
