Job summary

Unity Bay is seeking a Direct Support Professional in Moncks Corner, SC (Temple II) with a full-time schedule of 32 hours per week. The role provides support, supervision, and training to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in a Community Training Home (CTH).

The position requires a High School Diploma or GED, a valid SC driver’s license, and a paid orientation period. Schedule: Monday–Friday 6am–10am and Saturday 8am–8pm; overtime is available.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Minimum age: 18.
• Valid South Carolina Driver’s License with acceptable driving record required.

Responsibilities

• Provide support, supervision, and training to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in a Community Training Home (CTH).
• Maintain professional behavior and follow agency policies and procedures.
• Assist individuals with daily living tasks, meals, and safety routines.
• Document accurately in Therap and related forms; communicate changes to supervisors and nursing staff.
• Transport individuals to activities and appointments and operate agency vehicles as trained.
