Addus HomeCare in Bybee, TN is seeking a Direct Support Professional to help seniors and people with disabilities live independently. The role offers flexible hours and a pay rate of up to $15.68 per hour, with daily and weekly pay options and travel reimbursement.

The position emphasizes following care plans, assisting with personal care and household tasks, transporting members, and reporting changes in condition. A background check and reliable transportation are required.

Qualifications

• Good communication skills.
• Reliable, energetic, self-motivated and well-organized.
• Ability to work with limited supervision and follow written/verbal instructions.
• Comfortable using an electronic device.

Responsabilités

• Follow a care plan for the member and report on completed tasks.
• Assist people with personal care (bathing, dressing, etc.)
• Support routine house cleaning, laundry, and assist with meal preparation.
• Transport members to appointments, daily errands, and other locations as necessary.
• Assist member with the self-administration of medications (no administering or measuring)
• Observe and report any changes in member's condition.
