Job summary

Northeast Arc is hiring Direct Support Professionals to work in our group homes on the North Shore. You will provide direct care, support the clinical and social needs of the individuals, and help them live inclusive and independent lives in their homes and community.

Requirements include CPR, FA, and MAP certifications, a valid driver's license, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform transfers. Sleep shifts are paid separately. CPR and MAP are required.

Qualifications

• CPR/FA and MAP certifications are required.
• Valid driver's license is required for most positions.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and assist with transfers.

Responsibilities

• Provide Direct Care and support clinical and social needs.
• Document accurately in health records and logs.
• Foster meaningful community experiences to promote independence.
• Support home care tasks including transferring, bathing, and grooming.
• Administer medications per policies and MAP regulations; support appointments.
• Maintain a safe work environment and staffing ratios per contracts.
