Job summary

Abound Health is hiring Full-Time Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to provide caregiving and companion support services for an individual in Mt. Joy, Lancaster County, PA.

This is a high-hour opportunity with up to 23 hours of support per day, offering the potential for full-time schedules and consistent hours. As a DSP, you will provide companionship and assist with daily living needs to help the individual remain safe, comfortable, and independent at home.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to pass criminal, driving, and healthcare registry checks.
• Ability to assist with toileting and personal care.
• Ability to lift as required.
• Reliable, compassionate, and professional demeanor.

Responsibilities

• Build positive relationships and provide compassionate companionship.
• Assist with toileting and personal care as required.
• Help with daily living activities and household routines.
• Provide supervision to ensure a safe environment.
• Encourage independence with appropriate assistance.
• Assist with meal preparation and light housekeeping.
• Support participation in community and social activities.
• Communicate with Abound team, family, and other care providers.
• Complete documentation and maintain schedules.
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development.
