Job summary

Toward Maximum Independence (TMI) seeks a Direct Support Professional to support adults with IDD in a community integration setting. You’ll train clients, build supportive networks, and help expand participation in integrated employment activities.

Full-time and part-time options are available in Temecula and surrounding areas. Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, at least 1 year in social services or related fields, and a valid driver’s license with 3 years of driving

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma/GED.
• Experience: 1 year working in social services, education, or with developmentally disabled population preferred.
• Driving: 3 years driving experience; own vehicle; able to transport up to 3 clients; mileage reimbursed.

Responsibilities

• Train, support, and monitor clients in the community.
• Develop a circle of support with families, friends, and community partners.
• Create adaptive materials and expand clients’ participation in integrated employment activities.
• Assist with annual plans, goals, and IPP meetings; provide same-day shift coverage as needed.
