Our Milaca Living Center location is in need of positive, fun people to work with individuals with special needs. The hours include mornings, evenings and rotating weekend shifts and on-call positions/shifts. We have open full-time and part-time and on-call positions available. This would be a great role for new graduates, someone looking for a second job or a position for people who are semi-retired. All training is provided and paid.
Primary Duty: Responsible for the supervision and management of the program residents. Accountable for the implementation of treatment plans and documentation of resident's functioning within the treatment environment. Training is offered in behavior management; limit setting and crisis intervention techniques.
Starting Wage: $11.25 an hour.
Education/Experience: High School Diploma/GED
Other Skills/Requirements: Valid driver's license with a good driving record; 18 years of age.
The Services for Persons with Special Needs (SPSN) division is dedicated to serving individuals with developmental disabilities of any age. Support services may be provided in the consumer's home, in their local community or in a foster-care, residential setting.
