Job summary

REM Community Services, a part of Sevita, is hiring a part-time Direct Support Professional for Sidney, Ohio. The role focuses on assisting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, supporting daily activities, personal care, and community participation.

The position requires a valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle, weekend shifts (8a-2p), and a compassionate, patient approach. Sevita offers a mission-driven environment with opportunities for growth and meaningful

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent, proof of education is required.
• Age Requirement: Minimum 18yrs of age
• Six months of experience in intellectual disabilities, behavioral health, or mental health preferred
• Skills: Communication, adaptability, multi-tasking, teamwork, time-management
• Behaviors: Patient, compassionate, reliable, responsible
• Vehicle: Valid Driver's license and access to a registered vehicle with proof of insurance

Hire wage is $17 hourly

This position requires someone who has had a Drivers License for at least 1 year (post permit) and a clean driving record that meets Sevita’s insurability policy.

Proof of full coverage vehicle insurance and reliable personal vehicle is required.

Positions include weekend shifts as scheduled.
