Job summary

Sevita’s Mentor Community Services in Phoenix seeks a caregiver to support individuals with developmental disabilities. You’ll follow the shift schedule: Tue 2p-11p, Wed 2p-11p, Thu 5p-11p, and provide compassionate, person-centered care.

You’ll assist with daily living activities, promote independence, and help participants engage in community life while building trusting relationships with participants and supervisors.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Six months of experience in human services, direct care, or care coordination preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and access to a registered vehicle with proof of insurance.

Responsibilities

• Assist individuals with personal hygiene and daily activities.
• Support participants who have behavioral challenges and other complex needs.
• Help participants participate in community activities and pursue goals like budgeting, exercise, and nutrition.
• Develop meaningful relationships and provide reliable, compassionate care.
