Job summary

Mosaic is seeking Direct Support Professionals in Milford, CT to assist individuals with daily living skills and independence. You will provide emotional support, monitor safety, and help with meal prep, housekeeping, and personal care under supervision.

We value compassionate, punctual team players who communicate clearly and are committed to inclusion. No experience required; thorough training is provided. Must be 18+ and have a valid U.S. driver's license where applicable.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid U.S. driver’s license where applicable.
• Work requires frequent physical activity including standing, walking, and bending with occasional kneeling, climbing, stooping, crouching, squatting and balancing.
• Lifting up to 25 pounds, pushing/pulling up to 40 pounds, and ability to safely transfer 50 pounds.

• Help people identify and achieve the goals most important to them in order to live their best life possible;
• Monitor the comfort and safety of the people we serve while ensuring their medical, nutritional and personal care needs are being met; and,
• Demonstrate emotional support while assisting with general housekeeping, meal preparation and laundry duties.
