• Language/Communication/Organizational Skills: Ability to speak effectively and in a professional manner to patients, staff, visitors, etc.
• Mathematical Skills: Must be able to apply basic math skills.
• Reasoning Ability: Must have the ability to apply non-judgmental reasoning capabilities whenever necessary when dealing with patients, staff, visitors, etc.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct and indirect patient care in an individual patient care setting.
• Meets the communication needs of the patient/family, department staff and medical staff.
• Demonstrates basic computer knowledge. Prepares and compiles medical records.
• Initiates direction from physician and nursing staff.
• Participates in PI activities and maintains regulatory requirements.
