Job summary

Dungarvin is seeking a Direct Support Professional (DSP) to provide direct support and positive direction to individuals with disabilities. The role focuses on helping people live independently with dignity and respect, in a mission-driven environment.

Starting pay is $19 per hour for Full/Part Time 2nd Shift schedules in Meriden and Hamden. We offer comprehensive benefits including health, vision, dental, life and 401(k) with employer match, paid time off, and more to FT employees.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on assistance, encouragement, mentoring, and guidance.
• Ensure comfort, safety, and personal growth of the individuals we serve.
• Assist with daily living tasks such as moving around, getting in and out of bed, dressing, bathing, toileting, personal hygiene and more.
