Partners In Recovery LLC is seeking a Direct Care Worker to support residents in a crisis residential unit. You will assist with daily living activities, monitor safety, and help individuals engage in meaningful activities while documenting medication administration in the EMR.
The role is full-time, non-exempt, with 12-hour day shifts and a rotating schedule. A high school diploma and a valid driver's license are required; CNA/CMA is preferred.
Schedule: Staff rotation. 12 hour shifts. Day shift.
Under the direction of the Supervisor, Crisis Residential Unit, the Direct Care Worker supports the individual goals of the person served and helps them become integrated into his/her community in the least restrictive manner. May assist in areas of activities of daily living, communication, cognitions, and health management. The Direct Care Worker works meets with consumers to appropriately engage, inspire, and facilitate meaningful conversations with to help them to identify interests, needs, strengths, goals, dreams, and aspirations while offering encouragement and empowerment through shared experience to enhance their recovery and resilience.
