Job summary

Arcadia Home Care & Staffing, part of the Addus Homecare family, is seeking Direct Care Worker/Caregiver positions across Michigan. This role supports clients to stay in their homes with personal care, light housekeeping, and companionship. Virtual interviews are offered for safety.

We provide PPE, safety policies, weekly pay and benefits, flexible scheduling, mileage reimbursement, and ongoing training. Full-time or part-time opportunities, weekend availability encouraged.

Qualifications

• Experience using and trained on a Hoyer lift.
• Valid driver's license; auto insurance preferred.
• Willing to work occasional weekends.
• Excellent attendance required.
• Exceptional patient service and a caring personality.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients in staying in their homes with bathing, dressing, toileting, and grooming.
• Light housekeeping, laundry, shopping, meals, and errands.
• Engage clients through conversation and activities.

What you will be doing as Direct Care Worker/ Caregiver

• Enable clients to stay in their homes by providing support and personal care assistance such as, bathing, dressing, toileting and grooming.
• Support clients by providing light housekeeping and laundry services; shopping for food and other household requirements; preparing and serving meals / snacks and running errands.
• Keep clients engaged through conversation, games and other forms of entertainment.

Some of our requirements:

• Experience using and been trained on a Hoyer
• Valid Driver's License, and Auto Insurance (preferred)
• Must be willing and able to work occasional weekends
• GREAT ATTENDANCE is required. Our clients depend on us for their quality of life!
