Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health in Georgia is seeking a Program Supervisor to oversee operations in our Psychiatric Residential Intensive Treatment Program for adolescents aged 10-21. The role supervises Direct Support Professionals, mentors staff, and ensures quality care through training and program implementation.
The ideal candidate has supervisory experience in behavioral healthcare, strong communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks, including administrative duties
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in the field of counseling, mental health, social work, psychology/sociology, rehabilitation, special education, or human services field preferred; OR Some college education with 60 credits in human services preferred.
- Two years supervisory experience preferred (degree); or four years supervisory experience in a mental health related discipline required.

- Providing quality care and motivation to the children and adolescents we service.
- Supervising Direct Support Professionals and providing mentorship.

- Establishing and maintaining a therapeutic rapport with individuals.
- Overseeing operations in the Psychiatric Residential Intensive Treatment Program for adolescent clients (10-21).

We are seeking Program Supervisors to oversee operations in ourPsychiatric Residential Intensive Treatment Program (PRTF), dedicated to our adolescent clients , ages 10-21.Program Supervisors oversee, support, supervise and act as a resource to direct support staff and individuals served. Administrative tasks are also required as needed.
Starting pay: $24.00 per hour.
Additional compensation for Experience & Bachelor's degree or higher.
2nd: 2:30pm-11:00pm -This is for a 2nd shift opening only!
On-call, weekend availability and some holidays required.

Bachelor's Degree in the field of counseling, mental health, social work, psychology/sociology, rehabilitation, special education, or human services field preferred; OR Some college education w/60 college credits in human services preferred.
Two (2) years of supervisory experience preferred (degree); or four (4) years of supervisory experience in a mental health related discipline required (non-degree); Direct care experience with the I/DD (intellectual/developmental disabilities) population, specifically children and adolescents preferred.
Must be a minimum of 21 years of age.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal; leadership, relationship management, and multi-tasking skills are required.
Strong technical skills and ability to utilize in-house computer applications.
Have a strong passion for working with and helping children living with emotional and behavioral differences.
Valid Driver's License and Satisfactory Drug Screen and Background Check results.
On-call, weekend availability and some holidays required.
Must be able to complete a two-week, paid new hire orientation class; hours are approximately 8:30am to 5:30pm daily.
Be empathetic, a team player, have excellent written and verbal communication skills, energetic, creative, understand the theories of behavior management and positive reinforcement, and represent yourself as a positive role model.
