Acadia Healthcare is seeking a patient care assistant to provide daily one-on-one or group instruction/assistance to patients. You will help with activities, monitor and report on data collection, and support clients in learning new skills.

The role includes preparing meals as needed, encouraging independence, maintaining a clean therapeutic environment, and ensuring patient safety. A valid driver's license and a high school diploma are required.

Formación

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Must have a valid driver's license.

Responsabilidades

• Provide one-on-one or group instruction/assistance to patients daily.
• Conduct routine checks of the vehicle when driving is required.
• Accurately monitor and submit data collection sheets to supervisor.
• Assist with assessment of clients' strengths and needs.
• Prepare clients' meals and provide training as needed.
• Encourage independence and participation in activities.
• Maintain a neat and orderly facility and promote a therapeutic environment.
• Document behaviors using descriptive terms and report safety concerns.
