Job summary

One Senior Care is seeking a Direct Care Scheduler to coordinate in-center and home care schedules for Personal Care Aides, ensuring alignment with each Participant’s plan. You will work with the Direct Care Supervisor and team to maintain smooth operations in a supportive environment.

Ideal candidates are organized, dependable, and able to engage with diverse individuals. Prior experience with EMR documentation and a willingness to obtain CPR/First Aid certification are a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Create and manage PCA schedules for in-center and home care, ensuring care aligns with each Participant’s plan.
  • Communicate shifts, assignments, and schedule changes to PCAs in collaboration with the Direct Care Supervisor.
  • Monitor schedules to confirm care services are completed as planned.
  • Assist with coordinating Participant supplies and durable medical equipment.
  • Complete and review EMR documentation and encounters in a timely manner.
  • Assist in audits, PCA competencies, and ongoing quality initiatives.
  • Fill in as a PCA if needed to support care operations.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Job Summary:

As a Direct Care Scheduler, you’ll coordinate schedules for in-center and home care Personal Care Aides (PCAs) to make sure Participant care activities are delivered according to plan. This position is ideal for someone who is organized, dependable, and enjoys working with a variety of people. You’ll work closely with PCAs, the Direct Care Supervisor, and other team members to keep care running smoothly in a supportive, people-centered environment.

Hourly Wage:

$16.50 /hr. to start – $17.50 /hr. after 90 days

Schedule:

First shift, full-time hours. Specific work hours will be established in consultation with your supervisor.

Education and Experience:
  • High School Diploma or GED

  • Experience working with the frail or elderly population is a plus

  • Valid driver’s license

Requirements:
  • Requires valid State driver’s license with a clean driving record.

  • Successful completion of background check, physical, drug screening, TB Screening

Physical Requirements:
  • Must be able to move intermittently throughout the workday

  • Must be able to lift, push, pull, and move a minimum of 25 pounds

  • Must be able to assist with Participant evacuations when necessary
