Job summary

UCP Heartland is seeking compassionate and committed Personal Assistants (Direct Care Providers) for full-time shifts in Overland and Florissant. The position pays $21.00 per hour with a set 30-hour weekly schedule and mandatory training at the corporate office.

Responsibilities include assisting with daily tasks, personal hygiene, ADLs, and medications. You will lift and transfer clients, document shifts in Set-Works, and coordinate activities and transportation as needed.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Valid Driver's license.
• Clean driving record.
• At least one weekend shift per weekend.
• Experience with disabilities or customer service helpful.
• Ability to take direction with minimal supervision.
• Good written and oral communication skills.
• Computer proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Provide physical assistance with daily tasks and personal care.
• Assist with ADLs, lifts, and transfers (incl. ceiling lifts).
• Follow medical orders and administer medications as directed.
• Document shifts using Set-Works and general housekeeping.
• Interact with family; provide engaging activities and community outings.
