UCP Heartland is seeking compassionate Personal Assistants (Direct Care Providers) for FULL-TIME shifts in Saint Louis, MO. The role includes providing physical assistance, personal hygiene support, and activities to promote independence, with a fixed 32-hour weekly schedule and $21.00/hour pay.

Applicants must have a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver's license with a clean driving record, and weekend availability.

Qualifications

• Experience with disabilities or in customer service.
• Willingness to work weekend shifts.
• Good written and oral communication, plus basic computer skills.
• Must complete mandatory training at corporate office.

Responsibilities

• Provide physical assistance with daily tasks and personal hygiene; facilitate activities.
• Follow medical orders and assist with medications.
• Assist with ADLs, lifting and transfers (wheelchair, ceiling lifts, etc.).
• Document shifts using Set-Works and perform general housekeeping.
• Interact with family and maintain a fun, outgoing, and positive personality.
• Offer clients choices for daily activities to enable entertainment and community outings.
