Job summary

People Incorporated in Massachusetts is seeking Direct Care Professionals for part-time evening shifts in Mansfield, Taunton, Fall River and surrounding areas. You will support adults with developmental disabilities in a residential program, assisting with daily living, meal prep and activities of daily living.

No experience is required; we provide free on-the-job training and opportunities for growth. Benefits include health, dental, vision, 403(b), life and disability insurance, paid time off

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred but not required
• A qualifying criminal background check and driving record
• TB screening and Physical required upon hire and updated every two years

Responsibilities

• Be part of a team supporting adults with developmental disabilities in a residential program
• Provide assistance with daily activities and ensure a structured routine
• Assist with individual community outings, meal preparation, activities of daily living, personal care and medical appointments
• Distribute medications as needed

Direct Care Professionals - Part Time Evenings

Pay Rate: $21.00 / hour
$22.00 / hour (after one year of benefit eligible employment)

Schedule: Sunday 9am-6pm, Monday 3pm-11pm, Tuesday 3pm-11pm, Friday 3pm-11pm

What do I need to join the team?

What Does the Job Entail?

You will be part of a team supporting adults with development disabilities in a residential program. Direct Care Professionals provide assistance with daily activities and ensure a structured routine that includes:

• Individual community outings
• Meal preparation
• Assistance with activities of daily living
• Personal care
• Medical appointments
• Medication distribution

What are Community Outings?

As a Direct Care Professional, you will provide opportunities for individuals to integrate into the community and enjoy outings that interest them. Examples of some outings are:

• The Movies
• Shopping
• Going to Dinner
• Baseball Game
• Bowling
