Job summary
People Incorporated is hiring Direct Care Professionals to support adults with developmental disabilities in a residential program across the Southcoast area, including Taunton and surrounding communities. No experience is required and paid training is provided.

Responsibilities
- Support adults with developmental disabilities in a residential program.
- Assist with daily activities and ensure a structured routine.
- Provide individual outings and meals preparation.
- Assist with activities of daily living and personal care.
- Coordinate medical appointments.

- High school diploma or GED preferred but not required
- A qualifying criminal background check and driving record
- Valid driver's license; Use of your personal vehicle.
- A TB screening and Physical is required upon hire and a TB update every two years after
You will be part of a team supporting adults with development disabilities in a residential program. Direct Care Professionals provide assistance with daily activities and ensure a structured routine that includes:
- Individual community outings
- Meal preparation
- Assistance with activities of daily living
- Personal care
- Medical appointments
As a Direct Care Professional, you will provide opportunities for individuals to integrate into the community and enjoy outings that interest them. Examples of some outings are:
- The Movies
- Shopping
- Going to Dinner
- Baseball Game
- Bowling
