Job summary

Comfort Keepers in Shelby, NC is hiring Direct Care Professionals to support seniors and individuals with daily living needs in Shelby, NC and nearby communities. The role offers paid training, flexible scheduling, and a supportive team environment.

We are hiring for all shifts — daytime, evening, overnight, weekdays, and weekends. Compensation up to $17/hour plus holiday premium pay, with health benefits, PTO, and 401K with company match.

Qualifications

• A caring, patient, and reliable individual.
• Strong communication skills and a good work ethic.
• Experience as a caregiver, CNA, HHA, or PCA is a plus (not required).
• Must be 18+, pass background checks, and have reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Assist with bathing, dressing, toileting, and mobility
• Prepare meals, assist with feeding, and provide medication reminders
• Offer companionship and engage clients in daily activities
• Perform light housekeeping and maintain a safe home environment
• Support individuals with cognitive challenges such as dementia
