Responsibilities
- Actively assist individuals with their individualized plans for daily living and ensure safety, health, and a clean environment.
- Assist with the planning, implementation, and documentation of programs designed to meet the social, emotional, physical, and personal needs.
- Plan and participate in community outings, schedule and transport individuals to doctor’s appointments, shopping trips, and day programs.
- Be a mentor to other staff and conduct observations, providing feedback for required trainings.
- Work with individuals who may exhibit challenging and/or aggressive behaviors (paid training upon hire).
- Provide hygiene care (bathing, showering, toileting, etc.).
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in psychology, sociology, social work, education, or other related field, or 12 years of relevant Human Service experience.
- Previous experience working with individuals under 21 with psychological, emotional, behavioral disorders, complex PTSD, co‑occurring mental health and substance abuse disorders, and/or autism spectrum disorders (preferred).
- Driver’s license required.
Shifts & Compensation
General Shifts: 7 am–3 pm, 3 pm–11 pm, 11 pm–7 am. One weekend shift per week required.
The Day Program shifts are Monday–Friday, 9 am–3 pm.
Starting Pay: $19.25/hr.
